Where are your dresses made?

All our dresses are made in Australia by highly skilled pattern makers, cutters and seamstresses who pride themselves on quality work.

Which fabrics do you use?

All our dresses are made from 100% Indian Silk. They are then bonded for thickness with polyester based interlining. The bonding process helps minimise creasing and it's very flattering on most body shapes.

How do I choose the correct size?

The best way to ensure your dress fits is to measure your bust/waist/hip and enter the measurements into the measurement collection area. This will save you a lot of waiting time in returns and remakes. If you are unable to measure yourself, you can look up the measurements of your favourite dress by visiting your dress makers size chart. Compare their measurements with ours to get the perfect fit.

Will my dress be made to measure if I enter my measurements?

The measurements you provide us with will help us determine the best size for you. We do not offer a made to measure service, all of our dresses are made to size.

Will my dress print be exactly the same as the online design?

Everyone of our dresses are cut individually so there may be some slight print positioning variations, this is due to the pattern cutting process.

How do I care for my dress?

All our dresses are Dry Clean Only. Dry Cleaning is the best way to make sure your dress endures the test of time. Washing puts a lot of strain on fabric and over time your dress looses it's shape and colour. So if you love your dress and want to get the most out of it make sure you dry clean. For cleaning instruction check the care label.

My dress has air pockets/bubbles, can they be removed?

In the process of heat fusing some small air pocket may get trapped in the fabric and appear as bubbles. The best way to remove them is to apply heat to the area. So basically, if you notice any air pockets on your dress set your iron on the silk setting and iron over the area a few times until the air pockets disappear.

Where do I send my feedback?

Our goal is to serve you to best our our ability so your feedback positive or negative is highly appreciated. If you are unhappy with our service please contact us first so we have an opportunity to recertify any issue you may have before you make up your mind about us. Please send all your feedback to info@socialorder.com.au and we will use it to either build on what we do well or make improvements.

I'm not sure about designing my own dress, what if I make a mistake?

There is nothing to worry about. We have done the research to make sure all the combinations work and look great. However, if you're not happy we'll try it again and make you another one. So give it a go! You have nothing to lose.


I love my dress! How do I share my images and comments?

We love hearing your stories and seeing how amazing you look in your Social Order dresses. Feel free to tag us @socialorder and if you have the time email us at info@socialorder.com.au so we can share them too.

Can I mention you in my blog/article?

Yes! We love sharing our story. All we ask is for you to include a link back to our site. If you like, we'll even provide you with photos or a guest blog.

I'm having some technical difficulties with operating the site, who do I speak to?

Do you have a store or somewhere I can try the dresses on?

We are an internet based business. By staying online we are able to keep our costs down, so we can pass those savings to you, whilst remaining high quality and affordable. We do plan on having some viewing locations where you can 'try before you buy' and we will let you know as soon as they are up and running.

I'm a store owner and i'd like to stock your dresses do you wholesale?

We are an online retail business, but are looking to set up viewing locations around Australia, so if you think your store would be perfect to host our viewing location let us know via info@socialorder.com.au
